Severe Warning Message in Act4Advisors 2.0
You receive this message after installing software or adding a new user. "The number of users exceeds your Act4Advisosors licenses. You have 3 days remaining grace period..."



Answer

Very Important Note: Please backup your database before adding or deleting users.

In ACT, go to File, Administration, Define Users.

You are allowed the amount of users you have purchased. For example if you have purchased a single user license, there should be 1 listed user.  If you have a 2 User Network License, there should be 2 users listed - etc. If more, uncheck “Enable Logon” for those that are inactive. You may or may not see the “Me” record listed. You have the option in deleting the “Me” record but you MUST reassign to another user or you will lose data.
