Today's Calendar is Slow Loading

  Your Today's Calendar is very slow loading.
  Answer
  A reported Microsoft issue has been identified as a possible cause for this issue. Microsoft is aware of this and has released a hotfix to address it. Details regarding this hotfix including download instructions can found in Microsoft Support Article 960417

If the Microsoft hotfix does not resolve the issue, then another possible cause could be if you have over 100 activities scheduled on one day.

Reducing the number of activities allows the Today's Calendar to load faster.

You can use the following steps to remove activities:
  1. Click View and select Task List.
  2. The Task List view will open. You can delete multiple activities at once or you can hand select the activities that you wish to delete individually.

    Delete Individual Activities
    1. Click the Check Box located beside the activity that you want to clear.
    2. The following Clear Activity dialog box will appear:



    3. Click Erase and click OK.
    4. The Activity will be removed from your database.

    Delete Multiple Activities
    1. Select all the activities that you want to clear by clicking the first activity in the list and holding the Shift key and clicking the last activity in the list. If you have activities in the list that you do not want to clear, hold the Control key and then click on the activity to deselect them.
    2. Right-click in the highlighted area and select Clear Multiple Activities the following Clear Multiple Activities dialog box appears:



    3. Click Erase and click OK. The following Confirm dialog box appears:



    4. Click OK to complete the activities deletion process.
