This was caused when adding items to dropdown menu where an item exceeded the maximum field length for the field. The solution was to reduce the length of the data so that the pick list did not include any items greater than the maximum field length for the field.

Go to Tools, Define Fields and locate the field that is throwing the InvalidArgument Error.




Increase the field length.
